1.Introduction

2.PMS and its technological upgrade points

IE5 Permanent Magnet Motor vs. Induction Motor / IE5

Conventional small screw compressors widely use asynchronous induction motors(IE4 or lower). The PMS Series adopts an IE5 synchronous permanent magnet motor, delivering superior efficiency across the entire load range, especially under partial load conditions where traditional motors suffer significant efficiency degradation. The IE5 motor also enables smoother operation, lower noise, and a more compact footprint.

Direct Drive vs. Belt Drive

A key upgrade separating the PMS Series from typical small screw compressors is the elimination of belt drive. Belt drive systems, while common in entry-level units, incur 5–8% parasitic power loss and require regular belt tensioning and replacement. The PMS Series adopts direct drive: the motor is directly coupled to the airend. This design transmits 100% of motor output to compression, eliminates a major failure point, and significantly reduces maintenance requirements.

Intelligent Vector Control 

The PMS Series features vector control VFD technology, which precisely matches compressor output to real-time demand. This stands in contrast to simpler VFD or fixed-frequency systems, which often respond slowly to load swings, leading to wasteful unloaded running or pressure overshoot. With vector control, pressure stability is maintained within a narrow band, and energy waste is minimized.

All-Climate Readiness

Drawing on field experience in Russia and Southeast Asia, the PMS Series is available with optional climate-specific packages: a -40℃ cold kit for Siberian winters(including low-temperature lubricant, electric preheating, dual-stage starter motor, and heated drain valves), and a 45℃ high-temperature package adapting to tropical ambient conditions. Optional EAC certification and MSK-64 Grade 7 seismic rating are also offered for projects in demanding regulatory environments.


3. Small High-Pressure Piston Compressor (BG Series)

The BG Series is a compact, portable high-pressure piston compressor capable of delivering up to 350 bar (5075 psi). It is designed for applications where portability and high pressure are paramount.



Applications include:

• Breathing air (meets EN12021 standard) for firefighting and rescue

• Sports and leisure – paintball, high-pressure air rifles, rescue throwers

• Industrial testing – pressure vessel and pipeline leak testing

• Military and aerospace – on-site high-pressure charging for pneumatic systems

• Key features: small piston design, easy to move, suitable for frequent start-stop cycles, with optional filtration for breathing-grade air.


4. Modular Gas Booster

The GESO gas booster is designed to amplify existing low-pressure air or nitrogen to high pressure without replacing the entire compressor station. It is a cost-effective solution for intermittent high-pressure demands.
